Like tattoos on guys, helix piercings are trendy right now. This cutting is a hole in the helix, which is the name for the upper cartilage part of the ear. It’s likely the second most common place for piercings after the ears.

Auricle piercings are holes in the outside of the ear that are made in the cartilage around the edge of the earlobe and the helix. While it looks good on its own, it looks even better when worn with a helix and lobe piercing.
Even though these scars are cool, they’re not for guys who don’t like being in the spotlight. You have between six and eight months to heal. You might want to add a small hoop when you get your ears pierced, but you should start with a stud. It will feel great and be the right thickness for healing.

It’s a kind of linking earring that goes between two different spots on the ear, usually a helix and a forward helix. A barbell, or “bar,” is the name of a single piece of jewelry. It can get busy on your ear with an antitragus, so ensure you have room for another piece of jewelry. You’ll probably need a small band, hoop ring, or stud to get through the skin because this part of the cartilage is very thick (though not as thick as the tragus). 15. EAR PIERCED IN A SNUG

If there’s any place to puncture, there’s sure to be a special piercing there. A snug is a hole in the ear’s vertical part of the inner cartilage. It is also called an anti-helix. This is what you’ll see above the antitragus.
If you have other piercings, you can change the place of this one to match your other ones, which makes it pretty cool. Also, not many people have it, so it’s great if you want something a little different.
Both sides of the hole will be visible from the front because a tight earring goes through the cartilage. That means you’ll need a small bar or mini-hoop earring.
16. PIERCING IN THE TOP OF THE EAR

This piercing is in the same place on the ear, even though it may be called a “higher lobe piercing.” So, a hole is made in the top part of the earlobe that is made of skin, just before the cartilage.
You can get an upper lobe piercing without other lobe piercings, but it looks great as part of a complete ear game. Once you have your first and second holes in your lobe, try a flat dot stud that moves up your ear. It should be big, medium, or small.
Possessing an upper lobe hole makes it easy to have fun. It takes about the same amount of time to heal as its peers. The pain isn’t too bad if the person who does the piercing is good at what they do.
17. EAR PIERCING WITH A TRANSVERSE LOBE

While guys get ear piercings, the transverse lobe is probably the least common. A regular lobe piercing goes from the front to the back of the eardrum. A transverse, on the other hand, is a flat hole at the base of the lobe. From the front, you can see both ends of this side-to-side piercing.
